Ha, I’ve actually used Louis CK’s strategy once in what at least felt like an emergency…work meeting ran late, and I was going to miss the last flight out of, I think Buffalo, with a major storm expected that night. And they kindly went and picked up the car and didn’t even charge me anything. But I’ve also assumed that I have a note in my Avis profile that says “if he ever pulls this s*it again, throw the book at him…”

  2. @mark from a consumer standpoint, I do not. i like the single-minded focus on delivering a quality rental car product and expanding that product.
