  1. This is super-sad. Uber should remove the ability to tip from its app; the same study shows that the vast majority don’t tip anyway, and those who do are sexist (and probably xenophobic — other studies proved they’re racist too).

  2. So here is a case of discrimination, bigotry, bias and sexism where women are getting paid higher than men. Great. Let people make decisions according to their own interests, feelings and favorites instead of hounding them for having preferences. Everyone has a preference in everything. People want to pay female drivers more, good for them.

  3. I have never understood why anyone tips Uber/Lyft. They’re taking I believe 80% of your fare. Why tack on an extra dollar or two.

    The tipping expectations are crazy in the US.
