This is legitimately 50% off of otherwise-existing prices. You should look at any Southwest Airlines flights that you already have booked, because rebooking existing travel can save you money over the next three days.
The fares look attractive if you can book a flight where you are going but I prefer the non-stop service that I get on JetBlue. Anyhow, I usually stay away from flight that may have connections at snowy and icy airports if I can so I will probably not be flying in the USA during the flying period.

Generalizing from limited data points isn’t a great idea. I rebooked AUS/PHX r/t this morning for early Dec. — everything was on sale. Just for grins, I checked AUS/DEN, same dates, also plenty of availability.
This is an incrediably good sale. I rebooked a DAL to SFO flight in January for $62.09. Also a LGA to DAL for $61.94 in February. I have a companion pass so this is for two people plus the $5.60 fee for each flight for my companion. This is why I love Southwest. Plus we each get two checked bags. I can’t fly with luggage any cheaper plus I get to fly to DAL instead of DFW. Much easier for me since I live in Dallas.
