  1. @Gary

Would your recommendation of the Sapphire Preferred over the Select still hold if one spends enough annually to get the 25k bonus? I have about 125k in personal spending per year, with 2/3 coming from outside the US. My current strategy is to use the sapphire for all bonus spending like travel and dining, and then use the United Club card at 1.5 UA miles per dollar for general spend. Should I consider switching from the Sapphire to the Select?

  2. @Lee I would still do Sapphire Preferred and put my spend on other cards for their spending bonuses, eg Ink Bold 50k for $10k spend, Ink Plus 50k for 10k spend, an Amex Business Gold Rewards..
