Wise move by Puerto Rico. Maybe New Mexico should do the same — I’ve heard stories of geographically-challenged agents who refused to believe that was in the US. As opposed to … some part of Mexico? That part was never clear.
There are occasionally similar stories about people not knowing DC drivers licenses are real.
About the Kentucky teacher that got bit by the dog at the airport: Hopefully the dog had its Rabies shot. What a way to start your European vacation. It sounds like Chevy Chase-only real life. Poor woman.
