  1. Thanks for the video of the A380!

As a professional might say the flare was a bit high and the power came off a bit late.

Still, a lot better than this effort http://bit.ly/1qsq33K

  2. Regarding the paypal item, maybe it would be prudent for the bloggers who tout buying and selling of GCs to “manufacture” credit card spend to post a bold warning regarding the risks associated with buying GCs from strangers. It does not surprise me that paypal shafted the blogger as their business model does not support real customer service. Hence I would never buy a paypal card or buy or sell gift cards where paypal is the method of payment.

In general there are only two places I buy gift cards: (1) Online direct from the vendor, i.e. Amazon or (2) Safeway for physical gift cards. Generally I only buy physical cards valued at $25-$100 and I check the card carefully for evidence of tampering.

Of course there is no way to prevent GC fraud 100% of the time, but you can minimize your potential loss by not spending $1000s to manufacture spend.

  3. The cards were purchased from cvs and walgreens.

A stranger didn’t steal the money – employees that run the cards did.
