Jeopardy! Had A Credit Card Category, How Many Answers Do You Know?

Jeopardy! had a credit card category. I knew the answer to all five questions, but I had to think about just what the fourth one was asking. Maybe it’s that I hadn’t finished my coffee before reading the question, or maybe if I were standing there under the lights I’d have failed to realize quickly enough that they were asking ‘what does the second letter stand for?’

Here are the answers:

  1. Discover Card

  2. Grace Period

  3. American Express

  4. Verification

  5. Diners Club

How many did you get right? And, like me, did you fail to frame your answers in the form of a question?

  1. Got them all. And there’s a comedy, “The Man from the Diners’ Club” with Danny Kaye.

  2. Nailed 4 out of 5. I thought the CVV “value” question was worded strangely,,,,even now seeing the answer I am not sure I understand the question.

  3. 4/5. CVV is a bit obscure.

I miss Diners Club. – it was a great travel card before CSR and Amex Plat came along with the perks and points.
