More Than 50% Off Delta Coach Awards To Europe: Just 34,000 Miles ROUNDTRIP

Delta is running a sale on coach award tickets to Europe starting at 34,000 miles roundtrip. They haven’t announced the sale, which isn’t surprising since at Delta whatever price they quote you in the moment is the price. Sometimes coach saver awards to Europe are 70,000 miles roundtrip, though I often see them for over 50% above that. SkyMiles is usually a dumpster fire for redeeming points.

We don’t know how long this sale will last, so if you want cheap coach awards to Europe book this now. It’s fully refundable without cost. You’ll find deals from most U.S. cities to most cities in Europe from September through end of year, though there are reports of sparse availability during the first quarter of 2022 as well.

Nashville – Amsterdam roundtrip

Reportedly Dayton – Madrid, New York JFK – Zurich, and San Antonio Milan price out at 34,000 roundtrip as well while most cities are about 10,000 miles more than that. And you do need to search roundtrip, because Delta generally charges a premium for one way tickets (and one way tickets that originate in Europe come with fuel surcharges, because they can stick it to you that way).

  1. Nope, I’m not getting stuck with a false positive COVID-19 test and not be able to get home.

If I can’t drive home, I’m not going until this mess gets sorted out.

  2. @Johnny this isn’t a bad point and I have to say that this is a worry which has caused me lots of anxiety in my travels – especially places where I wouldn’t want to hang around. Even worse, you’re forced to go to a health clinic filled with lots of sick and (unsick) people getting Covid tests and I managed to get a nasty cold cum flu on my last trip back from Europe (but still tested negative for Covid).

Since we now know that Covid has an incubation period far, far longer than anybody had imagined thanks to the Echizen Maru, this whole testing regimen is nothing but an unnecessary and expensive hassle that creates tremendous anxiety and exposes us to all sorts of illnesses, for zero gain in health. If one is vaccinated, there is no reason at all to test anybody, coming from anywhere.

  3. Good deal for economy, that’s cheaper than Hawaii. Unfortunately there are no guarantees that Europe will stay open (even to vaccinated Americans) with the recent surge.

What is DL policy/fees for redepositing miles?
