  1. Tell me the second thing you did after testing Chase transfers to United was to email these people back and ask them what the hell they were doing squandering Chase points at United?!? Haha

  2. Wow the SKYTEAM T4 lounge RIP 2009-2021 got to know it as a Continental Platinum Elite – had the ‘oxygen bar’ gimmick. SKYTEAM really kept its word to being a force at Heathrow opening that lounge in the depths of the financial crisis.

  3. I had a transfer take days. I was panicked as I need the points for a reward ticket. I think it may have had something to do with the number of points that I was transferring at once. It may be better to transfer smaller amounts at a time.

  4. Not just United – I’ve had multiple transfers from Chase to Aeroplan also delay for 24+ hours (one is still pending) in the last few weeks.

  5. I think there’s something going on at Chase URs. I’m a Sapphire Reserve person since they invented the product. Customer service has always been terrific, the few times I’ve used it. URs recently started disappearing out of my account and it took TEN DAYS to get someone at Chase to do something about it. Endless rounds of “I’ve forwarded your message and someone will get back to you in two days” plus even dumber responses. They now tell me it’s fixed, but it was a frustrating experience … kinda like dealing with American Express (shudder). So the instant transfer timing may improve by and by. I still have faith in Chase Customer Service.
