Stack 1000 Bonus AAdvantage Miles On Top Of Hyatt Points And Miles At 156 U.S. Hotels

You can earn 1000 bonus American AAdvantage miles per stay of two nights or more across 10 U.S. cities between July 5 and September 5, 2022. Registration required by August 31.

  • This isn’t choosing ‘miles or points’ this is on top of the Hyatt points you’ll earn
  • And it stacks on top of Hyatt’s existing partnership with American where American elites earn 1 AAdvantage mile per dollar spent with Hyatt and Hyatt elites earn 1 Hyatt point per dollar spent on American flights

The offer is available at Hyatt properties across the following cities: Austin, Boston, Chicago, Honolulu, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington D.C.

Given how Hyatt’s program works, where award stays are qualifying stays, you’ll earn the bonus AAdvantage miles even on free night redemptions.

Interestingly Hyatt hasn’t announced a promotion for summer – in the U.S. there’s been little need to incentivize heads in beds however.

  1. Yes, this came out yesterday.
Personally, I do not see much of the value in this because of the limited number of properties participating and limited to just a few the major metropolitan areas I do not have immediate plans for. Also, 1000 AA miles has a value of $12-15 nowadays – hardly a motivation to change your travel plans.
