Air India About To Make One Of The Largest Aircraft Orders In History

Air India is on the verge of announcing an order for 500 aircraft, which would give them an order book similar in size to United Airlines.

They are expected to order 400 narrowbody planes, and 100 widebodies. According to one of the biggest players in airline leases, the order will likely be Airbus A320neos, A321neos and 737 MAXs, plus 787s, 777Xs, and Airbus A350s.

Man Arrested For Urinating On Woman During Air India Flight Is Using A Classic Defense

A man reportedly urinated on a passenger while flying Air India from New York JFK to Delhi on November 26. According to the woman in her 70s, the man “unzipped his pants, relieved himself and exposed me to his private parts” and the crew did little about it.

After media brought attention to the incident, the man was identified. He was fired by his employer. And he is being prosecuted. His defense is classic.

Another Air India Passenger Urinates On Woman Inflight

An Air India flight from New York to Delhi, where a passenger walked up to a woman seated in business class and urinated on her and nothing was done about it, is making international news.

And the narrative that ‘this happens on Air India’ is being reinforced because 10 days after that incident another man urinated on a woman on Air India, this time on a Paris to Delhi flight on December 6th. Once again little was done about it.

Air India Briefly Pulls All Inventory From Global Distribution Systems As Its Funds Are Impounded

Air India, which is owned by the government but due to be privatized this month in a sale to Tata Group, pulled all of its inventory from global distribution systems briefly at the end of the year – where more than half of the airline’s ticket sales occur – as a court ordered all of its funds held by IATA for settlement impounded.
