Brawl Breaks Out At Embassy Suites Atlanta, Front Desk Clerk Defends Herself Using Phone As Weapon

A brawl broke out at the Embassy Suites Atlanta Galleria after a dispute between a guest and a front desk associate. Other guests in the lobby naturally caught it on video… rather than helping to restrain the combatants.

While the argument that precipitated the fight wasn’t recorded, we can see that the hotel front desk agent is wearing a mask at the end– and the guest is not.

Atlanta Airport Once Again Vies For Most Corrupt In The Nation

Atlanta’s airport is the most corrupt in the country (although in fairness Detroit may be a close second).

In Atlanta if you want to open a restaurant you donate to a political campaign and pay the former mayor’s daughter. The airport’s former manager was fired for being insufficiently corrupt, and then the city council buried the payments that bought his silence. Now a new bribery scandal and a guilty plea.

Bill Murray Applied for a Job at the Atlanta Airport P.F. Changs

In 2013 Atlanta got the first P.F. Chang’s in an airport, upstairs on the A concourse. That P.F. Chang’s has set a new milestone. It’s where Bill Murray wanted to work.

Appearing on Amy Shumer’s pdcast he talked about “his desire to work at the [P.F. Chang’s] dining chain.” It’s the “one job he’d like to do outside of acting” and he shared that he “fill[ed] out an application at P.F. Chang’s at the Atlanta airport, because I think that’s one of the great places.”

Is Detroit Challenging Atlanta as the Most Corrupt Airport in the Country?

The airport’s former manager is in the midst of a federal criminal trial. James Warner is accused of “fabricating invoices, overcharging the airport for work performed by contractors and receiving more than $5 million worth of kickbacks during a four-year period” — which is even more than Detroit’s former mayor Kwame Kilpatrick took in payoffs.
