Taylor Gourmet, which some may know from its outpost at Washington’s National airport, has gone out of business. The DCA outpost is the only remaining Taylor Gourmet spot this week.
You could spend $60 and get $250 in value out of their program. And they didn’t mind, saying “If people want to hack through and get cookies, that’s fine.”
iDine (aka Rewards Network) has a new Delta dining for miles bonus that offers both redeemable miles and elite qualifying miles (registration required). Four qualifying dines of $25 or more in October and November earns a bonus 1000 miles that even count towards status. Now, it’s just 1000 miles. But the notable thing is that the bonus offers the opportunity to earn elite status for something other than flying. Already increasingly common (and in some measure pioneered by Delta) is elite status through credit card spending. And last year USAirways offered its ‘Everything Counts’ promo at the end of the year where most miles (credit card spending excluded) counted towards status. Some Dividend Miles members became Chairmans Preferred 100,000 mile ‘flyers’ by sending a whole lot of flowers. So this is another step in that…
Register by February 15 and dine 10 times (minimum $25 spend) by March 31 at qualifying restaurants to earn 5000 bonus Mileage Plus miles.
Via Free Frequent Flyer Miles, there’s also a Delta 25,000 iDine bonus on offer. Registration is required by July 25. The deal is that you need 25 qualified dines of $25 or more by 12/31/06 for 25,000 bonus miles.
Here’s the biggest iDine bonus I’ve ever seen. If you spend $125 a month at iDine restaurants on qualifying dines during each of the last six months of the year you’ll earn 25,000 bonus United miles. Registration is required by July 25.
Register to earn triple United miles at the first three iDine restaurants you eat at by June 30, up to 3000 bonus miles. A credit card set up to earn United miles for dining and an online iDine profile are required. (Okay, I can’t stop calling it iDine, I’ll never manage to refer to it as RewardsNetwork.
