Wounded Ukrainian Veteran Kicked Off Plane For Wearing Prosthetic Leg

A Ukranian soldier, injured during Russia’s invasion of his country, was kicked off of a Wizz Air flight from Tel Aviv to Warsaw because of his prosthetic leg. The airline says he either needed to be “fit to fly” on his own or “accompanied by someone” for support. He had reportedly been in Tel Aviv for medical treatment, and was traveling with gifts to visit family.

Pilot Loses His Cool During 7 Hour Delay: “I Don’t Need This” “Who Wants To Get Off?”

According to the airline, they “sincerely apologize” for the inconvenience of the delay of flight W95749, from Gatwick to Larnaca, which they blame on late arriving aircraft and air traffic control. They do not, however, apologize for the pilot – who, if he ever tires of flying for Wizz Air- likely has a future with the Delta Air Lines social media team.

Franke is responsible for turning Spirit Airlines into an ultra low cost carrier. He divested there and bought Frontier Airlines, turning it into a Spirit clone. And now he’s merging the two. And another one of his airlines is looking to offer transatlantic service.

Passenger Curses Out Flight Attendant Over Buy On Board Meal: Is Turkey Ham Really Ham?

A passenger on board a Wizz Air flight from London Luton to Skopje on Sunday demanded a refund for the sandwich he purchased.

He’s Muslim. He bought a ‘turkey ham’ sandwich. It’s not turkey and ham. It’s ham-like meat made out of turkey. But midway through eating the 4.50 euro sandwich he decided it “didn’t taste like turkey.”
