- Actress Busy Philips slammed Delta for splitting her up from her daughter onto different routings during irregular operations. As soon as I saw this my first thought was ‘they were booked in separate reservations’. Yup. Although the complaint about 2 hour telephone hold times is fair (that’s when you ring up international call centers — or complain on twitter like this Dawson’s Creek alum did. (Though it helps if you’re one of the 25 most influential people on the internet.)

Two months ago DL had an equipment change and split us up from 2 of our children…put them across the plane (widebody) and about 10 rows behind us. We were all on the same reservation. No explanation from DL about why nor any help from the staff on hand; gate agents told us to board and ask people to trade seats, FAs told us to go back off the plane to talk to gate agents about it. One couple overheard the mess and offered to switch, very generous of them since it was further back on the plane. i was very surprised that DL split up seats on the same reservation.
Apparently the rapper’s allergies werent soo bad that he was willing to sit at the back of the plane…. if it was a bs emotional support animal id feel sympathy but a real support animal? He has to just deal
Maybe somebody should tell this hollywood celeb to book her children all on the same reservation??? Really pretty stupid she is going to get outraged when delta wouldnt have known all these tickets were linked.
