Today Only: Park Hyatt Maldives Pool Villa $402+Tax Including Meals

The Park Hyatt Maldives is discounting to $2495 for a 5 night stay for two people ($499/night) including tax which equates to a rate of $402 per night. You can add additional nights for $499 each, again tax-included, and this covers double occupancy. And the deal – for a pool villa, not a base villa – includes breakfast and dinner.

I’ve stayed at the property five times. It’s one of my favorite places. There are just 50 rooms on the island, each one is a standalone villa and the villas themselves are largely the same but for location and whether there’s a pool. Service is generally good and friendly, and it’s a great place for social distancing. You can hang out at the main pool, or with this deal at your own pool.

The offer here is:

  • Travel Dec. 1, 2020 – Oct. 31, 2022
  • Blackout dates: Dec. 31, 2020 – Jan. 1, 2021; and Dec. 22, 2021 – Jan. 4, 2022
  • If you stay January 5 – February 28, 2022 there’s a surcharge of $100 per night
  • Bookings are made by phone, call to confirm by Sept. 30, 2022
  • Vouchers are refundable
Until the voucher’s expiry date, Travelzoo will give you a full refund of your purchase if you can’t find dates that suit you or you can’t travel.

Bear in mind that lunch isn’t included, and that roundtrip domestic flights and boat from the airport to and from the resort runs $520 per person.

The Maldives is currently open to U.S. passport holders. Of course you can never make a bet on December when this deal starts, but while this is a prepaid deal but it’s refundable and booking for next year even late next year is fine too. You won’t earn Hyatt points or elite stay credit, but don’t worry as much as elite benefits because the biggest one here is breakfast which is included in the offer.

  1. This deal has been going on for over a week. Not sure it’s ending today but now that it’s on BA it will probably sell out faster. I’ve been sitting on my hand for this one!

  2. @tim I purchased this deal last week and used my CSR. It coded as travel, so 3X points.

  3. Agree with Melanie – did the same with CSR at 3x for travel.

No Hyatt member benefits but still a great deal. I believe the stay will not count for Hyatt nights either – had a quick e-mail exchange with the property.
