On Sunday even, two women – either sisters or cousins – got into a brawl with each other on the jetway of a Delta Air Lines flight departing New York LaGaurdia.
The Atlanta-bound passengers were part of a larger party. You can hear another passenger saying, “Come get Aaliyah, she’s fighting” and “Aaliyah, stop, stop” then a man and woman approach the battling ladies who hit each other in the head. One throws the other woman up against the jetbridge wall. And a crew member calls for backup.

According to the woman who took the video, “there was little intervention and the police took a while to show up” though once they did intervene the women went peacefully.
Delta flight DL1600 departed New York LaGuardia 35 minutes late, and arrived in Atlanta 47 minutes behind schedule. In normal times a 35 minute delay from LaGuardia at 6 p.m. would be almost a miracle, so other passengers have little room for complaint. The airline for its part attributes the brief delay to “a customer issue.” During the delay the offloaded passengers’ bags were found and removed.
I think my favorite part of the video is the Delta employees walking around watching, a far cry from three years ago when a Delta pilot approached two women fighting on the jetway, grabbed one of them and whacked her – the airline said he was ‘de-escalating the situation’.
I’m not sure whether the biggest takeaway here is ‘additional proof that all airline passengers are Spirit Airlines passengers now’ or ‘Delta flight was delayed.’

Alan where did you come up with this conclusion? You are making assumptions when their are none.
This kind of situation is unstable. The gate agent should be more forceful and, at least, yell “I command you to stop!”
If I were a passenger, I would partly intervene because if I didn’t, one of them may start slashing passengers with a knife she hid from the TSA or even a gun. On the other hand, it does put me at a risk to being a target.
I would probably flee and yell while doing so. “GUN! GUN! GUN!”
I did once yell at an airport and it prevented theft of my bag. I was delayed and saw my bag go through the x-ray. I thought I saw a passenger poke at it and maybe was considering stealing it. I yelled “STOP! THIEF! STOP! THIEF!” and yelled some more. I explained what happened when the supervisor came over and he said he would review the video even though I told him that nothing was taken and the passenger poking at the bag left.

Very true. Blacks commit 5x the murders as whites in the U.S. (In 2017, 53 of the homicides were committed by blacks despite being 13% of the population; the majority was black on black). It’s the same for other violent crimes as well. There is a reason why many are not comfortable with certain groups in their neighborhoods and why travelers have to be extra careful in places like Jamaica, Haiti, the Bahamas, South Africa, Brazil, parts of Paris, parts of Chicago, and the United Kingdom. It’s not because of whites.
It is unfortunate white and black families who want to live peacefully and raise their kids safely have to deal with violence that is common in the black community. Either it’s the gang violence in big cities, looting, or this. Whites do fight and commit violent crimes but the rate is much lower than those committed by blacks. If you live in a district with a lot of black youths, are you going to feel safe sending your white kids or traditional family values black kids to the schools: no. That’s why we need school choice and tax rebates for private/charter/home school.
This certainly doesn’t fit the CNN narrative. Where are the combatant’s MAGA hats????

Those stats are meaningless, since the justice system lets white people get a pass compared to black people. Look at Brock Turner. Look at McDowell and Williams-Bolar vs the white parents who lied/paid big bucks to get their kids into college. Look at the cops that murdered Breonna Taylor. Look at sentencing for white people that sell drugs vs black people that sell drugs. You are scared of black people because the system is set up to make you scared of black people.
