  A man allegedly leaned across a toddler on a United Airlines flight from Orlando to Washington Dulles so that he could forcibly grab his girlfriend’s hand and stick her fingers in his mouth before biting down.

• Bilt Rewards is getting a $6.25 million New York state tax subsidy tied to its new office lease, because it’s jobs if you squint real hard (and if the credits vest).

  Bilt has raised over $850 million, most recently at a $10.75 billion valuation, with an eye towards significant growth – which is why they’re moving from their current New York office to a new one. Yet somehow it’s this $6.25 million in jobs program tax credits that is responsible for creating 625 new jobs while retaining more than 200 existing employees.” Like, without this program Bilt was going to furlough everyone? Weird. Public money for ‘job creation’ that was already in the hiring plan is just the Monorail with fintech branding.

  The program has over 5 million members and “is on track to process more than $100 billion annually in housing-related spending while driving over $10 billion annually in spending to a network of over 40,000 neighborhood merchants including fitness studios, restaurants and pharmacies.”
