Conspiracy In Tennessee: State Senate Votes To Ban Weather Controlling Chemtrails From Planes

Contrails are condensation trails formed when water vapor from aircraft exhaust cools and condenses into ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.

At first they appear like sharp, distinct lines directly behind a plane and become wider, cloud-like formations as they spread out farther behind the aircraft and blend with the sky. This is all natural based on atmospheric conditions (largely temperature and humidity).

But legislators in Tennessee are convinced that they’re really government weather control experiments, or targeting of civilians with poison – and the state’s senate has passed legislation to ban “chemtrails” within the state’s borders. Chemtrails is a conspiracy theory that the trails left by aircraft are chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed at high altitudes for nefarious and secret purposes.

SB 2691/HB 2063 is spearheaded by Representative Monty Fritts (R-Kingston) and Senator Steve Southerland (R-Morristown). Having passed the Senate it goes next to the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. The legislation states,

The intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of this state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight is prohibited.

The bill started out as a measure to expedite the filling of vacancies within the Tennessee Air Pollution Control Board, but got… amendments. And it passed 25 to 6.

The best thing about this story to me, of course, is an excuse to use national treasure and pilot Mike Wagner’s classic Chemtrails At Night:

The chemtrail conspiracy theory was supercharged in the 1990s by an Air Force report, “Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025.” It speculated on future technology for weather modification for military purposes, suggesting perhaps that the government was already manipulating the weather through chemical spraying from aircraft. The term “chemtrails” took off in the mid-90’s, across late night AM radio talk shows and early growth of a democratized internet. It was a natural outgrowth of lack of public understanding of atmospheric science, mistrust in government and official sources, and a desire to find patterns or intentions in natural phenomena.

The Tennessee Senate has definite Greg Abbott deploying the Texas National Guard to stave off an Obama takeover vibes.

  1. Wow, Gary, you’re pulling a classic Saul Alinsky: “”Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon”. It’s far too late to call Chemtrails a “conspiracy theory”, Spain performed it during CoVid under Royal Decree 463/2020 (undeniable proof). Bill Gates famously also tried to introduce his “SCOPEX” plan, whjich was denied by the Coutry of Sweden, again undeniable proof. We can certainly agree or disagree on the extent to which this is being performed and where, but to call it a “conspiracy theory” is patently false.

  2. @TexasTJ… It was tried in Spain once and Bill Gates had a plan so that makes it a legitamate thing that is going on every time you see a planes vapor trail? I’d say that is classic conspiracy theory material. But that’s just my theory. 😉

  3. I think this bill is simply anticipating climate change mitigation measures that attempt to manipulate the weather, and they’re saying “not in Tennessee”.

  4. It doesn’t seem to be targeting normal operation of aircraft. I’m an extreme skeptic when it comes to conspiracy theories, but if the legislation only targets “the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of sunlight”, what harm, if any, is done? Those types of experiments have certainly been proposed, and if Tennessee wants to ban them, I suppose they can.

  5. @TexasTJ:
    1. Royal Decree 463/2020 was the COVID State of Emergency declaration and had nothing to do with “chemtrails” (undeniable proof)
    2. Scopex has nothing to do with “chemtrails” — read the statement of purpose (undeniable proof)
    3. The idea that commercial jets are spraying mystery chemicals on an unknowing populace is, by objective definition, a conspiracy theory (undeniable proof)
    3. You’re a tinfoil hat wearing dotard (undeniable proof)

  6. The plain language of the amendment is to ban cloud seeding to make rainfall. That is very liberal, not right wing.

It doesn’t ban spraying of psychiatric meds to drug the entire population though that would be cost prohibitive for a large area of spraying

  7. “What harm, if any, is done?”

Crazy people administer crazy laws. Which is why U Alabama had to stop doing IVF.

If enacted, how do the airplanes prove that they aren’t doing this? All that needs to happen is that the Govenor of TN declares that Delta or United is too “liberal” for employing LGBTQ people, and therefore must be spraying chemtrails.

Once the allegation is made, it will tie up people/institutions in the courts for years.
(E.g. Disney and De Santis and the “Don’t Say Gay” law)

If I were the airplanes I would simply stop flying to Tennessee. People can drive to a different state that allows chemtrails. will be a pain flying around it. But I guess then TN won’t be a “fly over” state anymore. (snark: I live in a flyover state too)

  8. I think I read something a while ago about spraying reflective dust into the atmosphere over Tasmania to reduce global warming. What could possibly go wrong with a government involved.

  9. This is simply a ban on cloud seeding and other weather modification (which are completely real and in use in several Middle East countries) has nothing to do with the “chemtrail” conspiracy…..once again misrepresenting the real story Gary

  10. @Patrick, I understand your point, but that’s the interesting thing about alleged “conspiracy theories”. It just takes one clear and factual incident to move them from the alleged “conspiracy theory” bucket to an accepted truth. Thereafter, sure, we can quible about where and how often the practice is employed (as I acknowledged earlier), but it is clearly false to label them as “conspiracy theories”.

  11. I receive a legislative update for Tennessee weekly while they are in session. They occasionally come up with doozy. There was one introduced this year where any city or utility had to have written permission for an electronic meter (water, gas, electric) and install an analog meter if the homeowner wanted it. Nearly all meters are electronic. Was supposed to keep the goverment or Illuminati from monitoring people.

  12. As one of the presidential candidates said:
“We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.”
He must love the hell out of Tennessee.

  13. This Spanish royal decree people are talking about doesn’t seem to say anything about chemtrails. Some seem to be suggesting it then allowed the use of chemical spraying. But that’s only listed on some very fringe websites which I’m not sure I’d trust. Is there anything a bit more solid to suggest Spain actually even did this?

  14. Fun fact: If you say “undeniable proof” it means you can’t ever be refuted (undeniable proof).

For example: TexasTJ is a nutjob (undeniable proof).

  15. “JRMW
UAB is doing IVF. Was a temporary stop.”

Based on the law that was passed and the Alabama Supreme Court Decision, it was a permanent stop.
A new law had to be passed to allow IVF to resume.

Of note: although a minority, a vocal number of people cheered the cessation of IVF

  16. This explains why we have the two candidates for president that we do. Unbelievable that out of 300M+ those are the best we can do.

  17. JRMW

You killed your own argument…UAB has resumed doing IVF regardless of the reason.

Trying to changed the parameters now looks desperate

  18. Wow, @LastTruePatriot… First off, your last point is completely unacceptable, we are engaging in civil discourse, and your unprovoked personal attack on me is not OK.

It would appear you are not familiar with Royal Decree 463/2020, On April 16, 2020, the Spanish government quietly admitted that they authorized the military to spray biocides on the entire population. The techniques they admitted to employing included nebulization, thermos nebulization and micro nebulization, with the stated goal of reaching “all surfaces” in the country. Yes, this falls in the technical definition of chemtrails.

It would also appear you are not familiar with the Bill Gates “Stratospheric Controlled Perturbation Experiment”, acronym: SCoPEx. It’s stated goal was to eject millions of tons of particulate matter into the stratosphere, thereby blocking a measurable amount of sunlight from reaching the surface of the Earth, allegedly to fight Anthropogenic Climate Change. Scientists opposed pointed out that the data suggested an effect similar to the 1815 eruption of Mount Tambora, in which food crops massively failed around the world and led to mass starvation.

All of this brings us full circle: We can have a reasonable discourse about using Chemtrail Technology, but to label it as a “conspiracy theory” is patently false as the equipment, the chemistry and the process have already been deployed.

  19. Wow. I don’t even know where to go on this one. What’s next, Tennessee makes witchcraft and wizardry illegal? Given the pack of bozos who just voted for this, I wouldn’t be surprised. If the state legislature wanted to outlaw some phenomenon resulting from human interaction with nature then why not just ban vehicle emissions? Didn’t anyone think it might be prudent to have a relevant expert or two like an actual airline pilot or meteorologist to testify that the impossibly ridiculous conspiracy theory is wrong? Tennessee Man to Florida Man: Hold my beer.

  20. This is by far the dumbest of the dumb of the conspiracy theories I have ever heard. I think they should not allow people in Tennessee to use airports or travel by plane anymore. They can drive every where and have their carbon monoxide trails from their cars produce Chemicals and allow themselves to travel undetected. Too many hillbillies ruining such a pretty state. Stay indoors and never venture outdoors again. Problem solved!!! Complete stupidity by paranoid and gullible politicians. More important things to worry about!!!

  21. Just wondering if the inept writer and the brain dead commenters have ever researched HUNDREDS OF GOVERNMENT PATENTS going back 100 years. They are easy to find. Weather modification patents. If your IQ is above 33, you should be able to find this information on your own.

Let’s talk about the real issue, red shoe Republicans playing pretend with taxpayer money. What black market project are they really funding? My guess is kiddie fiddlers and trafficking by those far right Christian conservatives – the black robe regiment of god, guns, and government. Patriots known as Knights Templar, Knights of Malta headed by Q/CIA Michael Flynn/Jerry Boykin.

There is a story. Chemtrails are way above the pay grade of mouthpiece senators and the house.
