Hyatt is offering a 20% bonus on Las Vegas stays May 7 through July 31. Registration required.

This doesn’t just apply to Hyatt’s one property there, but also to MGM hotels as well, which partner with Hyatt. Bonus points can take 3-4 weeks to post.

A 20% bonus just means one extra point per dollar spent, or an extra 1.5% rebate on spend based on how much points are worth.

That’s not a ton, but it’s not often that MGM properties are bonused by Hyatt although they offered this same bonus a year and a half ago. And during the first week of this promo Hyatt Place Las Vegas is an especially good deal, because this bonus stacks with two others:

• Through May 15 you earn 500 bonus points at Hyatt Place
• Through June 30 you earn 1000 American Airlines miles at Hyatt Place

To earn World of Hyatt Bonus Points, you must provide your World of Hyatt membership number and M life Rewards membership number at check-in on an eligible stay, be a registered guest physically occupying the room to which you are registered, and choose to earn World of Hyatt Base Points for your stay at check-in. After registering, you will be eligible to earn twenty percent (20%) more World of Hyatt Points based on your total eligible spend during an eligible stay at Hyatt Place Las Vegas or an M life Rewards-Eligible Stay between May 7, 2018 and July 31, 2018 (“Promotion Period”). Only Base Points are considered in calculating the 20%.

The bonus points will be awarded as World of Hyatt Bonus Points. An M life Rewards-Eligible Stay is defined as (i) any stay where payment is made directly to a participating MGM Resorts destination in Las Vegas, (ii) any stay at a participating MGM Resorts destination in Las Vegas booked through hyatt.com or (iii) any stay booked at a participating MGM Resorts destination in Las Vegas through a Hyatt Global Contact Center. In order for World of Hyatt members to receive World of Hyatt points, the bill for charges must be in that member’s name and member must pay for all charges. Hotel stays are subject to availability. A valid major credit card must be presented upon hotel check-in. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check-in. Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. Additional guest charges will apply. There is a maximum of 4 guests per room. A daily resort fee will be added to your room account, which includes select hotel amenities. Cancellations less than 72-hours before your arrival (and no shows) will result in a forfeiture of the first night’s deposit.
