Hyatt’s New March – April Promotion, Up To 28,000 Bonus Points

Here are apparently the details of Hyatt’s upcoming promotion, that hasn’t been released publicly yet.

  • Earn 3,000 bonus points every 3 nights
  • Up to 21 total nights / 21,000 bonus points
  • Co-brand cardholders earn an additional 1,000 bonus points every 3 nights “at participating hotels in 18 destinations only—Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mainland China, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Vietnam” up to 7,000 bonus points
  • Register by April 15 for stays March 1 through April 30, 2024.

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi

It’s a two month promotion that can earn up to 1,000 (or 1,333) bonus points per night. I value Hyatt points at 1.4 cents apiece. Not amazing, not terrible. The offer hasn’t been released yet and can’t yet be registered for.

You should of course register when the opportunity becomes available, because you might wind up with nights that earn the bonus and won’t remember to register later. More points is better than fewer points.

  1. For the vast majority of Hyatt members with Hyatt credit cards, this will basically mean no more than 21,000 bonus points if maxing out the promo by doing 21 nights during the promotional period.

Weak promo, especially in this era of devalued Hyatt points that are likely to be hit by an upcoming devaluation later this year too.

  2. This is a reasonable promotion. I don’t love the 3 night thresholds, as I have a 5 night stay planned in March (similar issue for a promotion last November).

  3. I was grumpy that due to some schedule changes my upcoming 7 Hyatt nights in Seoul was likely going to turn into 9. At least if that happens I’ll get $56 worth of additional Hyatt points.

  4. Dear Hyatt,
I will be doing far less than business with you then in years past
Overpriced revenue & award rooms and lack luster promotions.
It is far more lucrative to buy points in other programs
then redeem points with 4th night free and pay for breakfast elsewhere and still save hundreds every stay. While there may be some select exceptions.
I will save a lot more than trying to earn 3000 measly points after 3 nights (roll eyes)
Hyatt failing sorry 🙁 I’m out (yawn)
Going Kimpton the new W in Sydney and the Sheraton Grande next month

  5. Did I say thank you Hyatt for leaving North America out completely that insignificant region
