At the point where they’re willing to take 60,000 miles the award, is it that hard to make seats available and call them saver?

Instead these are ‘web specials’ which means that there are no changes permitted. For simple itineraries that’s no big deal because American eliminated all cancel and redeposit fees for awards (for all members, this is no longer a benefit restricted to Executive Platinum and Concierge Key members). That means you can cancel the ticket, get your miles back, and book a new ticket.

Chase Backtracks On Cancelling General Flynn’s Wife’s Credit Cards Over “Reputation RIsk”

General Michael Flynn posted a letter to his social media account showing accounts being closed by Chase next month due to ‘reputational risk’. There was one thing odd about the letter – the first name it was addressed to had been blacked out. It turns out Flynn’s credit cards weren’t cancelled. It was his wife’s accounts being closed. And, amidst a backlash, Chase is re-opening them.

There are premium airport departure, connection and arrival services that you can buy all over the world. Some are offered by airlines, others by airports, and some by third party services. The services can run hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

Denver’s airport is actually trialing a meet and greet service to assist passengers with departures, arrivals and connections. And at this point the service is free.
