Rapper 50 Cent, more known these days for his body spray and condom endorsement deal than the music he pioneered with Eminem and Dr. Dre — as well as a pump and dump stock scheme and the excellent TV drama Power — videotaped himself mocking an airport employee that he assumed was high.
“What’s your name?” the rapper, whose birth name is Curtis Jackson, asks the worker in a video he posted to Instagram and Twitter. The worker just shakes his head and keeps working.
“Look at him. What kinda sh*t you think he took before he came to work today? He high as a motherf****a right here in the airport,” 50 Cent said.
The focus of Mr. Cent’s ire was quickly identified on social media.
I went to school with him. His name is Andrew Farrell. He has extreme social difficulties just to let you know. He has a hard enough time getting through life without jackasses like you making fun of him. I hope you feel good about yourself. You just lost a huge fan.

Being based here in Cincinnati I see this man all the time when I fly. He’s one of the kindest employees I’ve ever interacted with always working really hard.

50 cent is ignorant this is not news. That being said it is clear that he didn’t understand that the guy had disabilities and honestly thought he was high. There is a difference between just being a moron and being someone who intentionally mocks people with disabilities. At least he is not the later category, because people can learn from their ignorance but there would be no redeeming qualities in a person who intentionally mocked someone with disabilities.

Really sweet guy . I went to school with him . Not real talkative but it’s understandable ! 50 cent is pathetic . No one should be treated like that . I could only imagine what Andrew felt . He should have to deal with it . And that’s why everyone pulled his vodka off there shelves . All he did was make it worse for himself and made some one feel really bad . If I was Andrew I would’ve probably cried . Stuff like that is hurtful .
I think it should be illegal to record people without their consent. Let’s hope this individual does not end up committing suicide.
