Southwest Airlines released a 12 minute film about a woman who a flight, rented a car, and wound up in the 1880s. It’s Back To The Future meets The Big Chill but with a woman who meets up with her father in a past that precedes both of them. And they did this as an homage to Kiyoshi Kurosaw because something about their 50th anniversary being two years ago.
Southwest Airlines has open seating. You take any seat that’s available. There’s no rule against saving seats, but also nothing that says you can do it either. Basically it’s everyone for themselves. Yet there are basic, unspoken rules. Violate one of those, get the captain involved, and you’re going to be removed from the aircraft for a conversation with law enforcement.

Southwest Airlines flight 3923 from Havana to Fort Lauderdale experienced a bird strike on climb out from runway six. The Boeing 737 MAX’s right engine “emitted three loud bangs and streaks of flames.” The engine caught fire and the passenger cabin filled with smoke.
