Re: Eastern Airlines, I think they are not even making the single flight, they’re making fun of the authorities. I was naive enough to book the MIA to SDQ route for a client, because it was cheap, and they cancelled the flight without even offering an alternative date.
Back in 2021, I flew Eastern Airlines between MIA and MGA. Does anyone know why they ended that route? It seemed completely full, and the fares were not that cheap either. At the time, it was the only airline aside from Avianca that flew between the US and Nicaragua. Since then, AA has fortunately brought back a flight going that route, but I would have preferred three airlines to offer it as it brings about more competition.
