Instant Free Accor Hotels Top Tier Platinum Elite Status

Le club Accorhotels frequently offers their top tier elite status just for signing up with the program, they’ll market it to a specific group of potential customers but anyone using the offer winds up able to sign up and get the status.

Here’s the latest signup link it could be around for a day, days, or weeks so if interested sign up soon.

Even if you don’t frequently stay at Sofitel, Novotel, Pullman, Mercure, and other related properties frequently, you never know when you might find yourself in one and having top tier status can’t hurt.

Platinum status usually requires 60 nights or 25,000 points earned. It offers double points and at Sofitel, Pullman and MGallery hotels a complimentary drink and welcome gift, and subject to availability and on request 4pm late checkout and an upgrade.

They’ll only let you sign up for one account per email address, so if opening a new account use a new email address. Some then combine their old and new accounts to preserve their points while elevating themselves to the new status.

The program isn’t among the more rewarding, but given that it’s top tier it can also be useful for status matching to other hotel programs. A status match offer like Best Western generally has can be obtained without demonstrated stay activity attached to the top tier elite account.

  1. Thanks! Which programs offer status match based on screenshot of the status alone? I know Carlson does, but anything else?

  2. I’ve heard Best Western is extremely generous with status matches. Trying for myself right now.

  3. Apparently their system only recognizes well known email services as “valid” addresses.

I get the following error when using my own @domain.com email address: Invalid identification. Please try again or use another e-mail address.

I was able to sign up with an unused Gmail account no problem. Pretty lame.

  4. Got instant Platinum status and it shows my 0 points will expire on August 1st, 2013. Not sure if the same expiration date applies to the Platinum status. However, would only use it if really need to stay at an Accor hotel since the benefits are very basic. Platinum is their top tier status and it does not include free wifi or free breakfast and upgrade is subject to availability. You get a “welcome gift”. 🙂

  5. Given that despite spending over half of my year on the road, I’ve never once heard of “Sofitel, Novotel, Pullman, or Mercure” hotels, I’ll probably pass on this.

  6. I already had an account with them when I took advantage of the free Delta miles deal.
Now, I’ve created a new account and see platinum status, But how do I combine the 2 accounts?

    Thanks!

  7. @TheDealMommy – Marriott offers the 90 days of status with a challenge to retain that status without any proof of current status

  8. @Andrew, the chains are very prevalent in Europe. I’ve stayed at a number of Pullman and Mercure hotels in Germany and Austria. I had the option of booking the Sofitel in Budapest for a trip in a few weeks, but I went with the InterContinental instead.

  9. Now the web site says:
The given promotion code is not usable anymore.
    (8 am 8/2/12)

  10. I have found Platinum mostly worthless as compared to base membership but if you are traveling soon:

“Exclusive offer for Gold and Platinum members!

As our most loyal guests, we are happy to present you with this exclusive offer. In August, receive free breakfast for two every morning of your stay as well as a welcome amenity upon check-in. “

  11. Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs
I stumbleupon on a daily basis. It’s always useful to
read through content from other writers and use a little something from their sites.
