    Ed Wegel has bounced around a number of airlines. He was a founder of Atlantic Coast Airlines (ACA), President of BWIA, President of Chautauqua, founder of the New Eastern Airlines which recently moved to Kansas City, founder of Canada Jetlines, and founder of GlobalX which does charters (including operating the recent Red Way scheduled charter business in Lincoln that failed).

  • American puts a Boeing 787-9 on the New York JFK – Delhi route starting in fall with the airline opening a 787 pilot base there. This is not scheduled to be a new delivery plane with business class suites.

  • I have an idea for a new Hyatt Globalist benefit in Las Vegas. Otherwise these mattress runs could get expensive!

  • The National Mediation Board hasn’t released American Airlines flight attendants to self help. How is this considered acceptable? I’ve certainly seen it during my own travels, and also being welcomed to my destination on behalf of the union.

  2. Yo American FA if you think you should be paid more then change jobs become a waitress or janitor or nursing home aid. Or go to college to get a degree to be a physician. But you are NOT worth $98 an hour

  3. A union member actively showing they wish to strike makes me think they will not to the job. They are just showing up to work as a warm body. Everyones safety is at risk

  4. It is Buc-ees but putting in an airport location would mean that all the airport toilets are in one location. On the positive side though one could get some really good beef jerky to stimulate the olfactory senses on your flight.
