Wow. This is a pretty cool opportunity for those who jump on it. It’s not cheap, price the price is reasonable I think for what you’re likely to get. Capital One is offering a Summer Dining Series with the Michelin Guide at Michelin-starred restaurants in San Francisco, Brooklyn, and Northern Virginia.

American Express Introduces Artist-Designed Centurion (“Black”) Cards And Prada Wearable
The American Express Black Card (Centurion Card) has a $5000 annual fee and you pay a $7500 initiation fee your first year as a cardmember, too. It comes with standard Platinum card benefits (sans the $200 annual airline fee credit), plus Delta Platinum, Hilton Diamond, and IHG Rewards Platinum status. New in the last year is an Equinox Destination Access Membership, and a $1,000 annual Saks credit. Cardmembers sometimes receive expensive gifts too.
The card is getting a refresh. One cardmember sent me details on the package they’ve just received.

Free, Instant $250 Amazon Gift Card From Brex
This morning I wrote about a 20% transfer bonus from Brex points to miles. I have a stash of 215,000 points thanks to a signup bonus and a Paypal deal – some of the easiest 215,000 points I’ve ever accrued.
As if the Brex deal hadn’t been good enough already, I received an email from them today: “Your Amazon Gift Card”
Who Is Linda Walker And Why Does She Have So Many Credit Cards?
Chase credit cards, in card images and other samples, generally have the name “D. Barrett” embossed on them. American Express sample cards bear the name “C F Frost” but many years ago were issued to “John Q Public.” Frost was an Ogilvy & Mather executive who worked on the Amex account in the 1960s.
Today I learned who Citi’s “Linda Walker” is.
Is The Delta Amex Portfolio Now The Largest, Most Successful Cobrand In The World?
During Delta’s earnings call on Tuesday the airline shared several fascinating statistics, for instance that corporate travel rose from 20% of 2019 levels in March to being 40% recovered in June, and the airline expects to be back to 60% of 2019 levels by September.
Perhaps even more interesting is the detail they shared on their American Express credit card relationship.
The Number Of People Eligible For Cardless Rewards Cards Has Roughly Doubled
I’ve applied and gotten approved for the Miami Marlins Credit Card. I wrote about why I was excited for this card – it unlocks some great experiential redemption opportunities like throwing out a ball at a Major League game and making announcements in the stadium, and I was amazed by how little spend it would take to get there.
Until now the card – and other cards from new rewards card company Cardless – weren’t available to me, because I’m not an iPhone guy. That changed and I jumped on the opportunity.

No, Delta Isn’t Leaving The Membership Rewards Program
There is no truth to the rumor that Delta SkyMiles will cease being an American Express transfer partner. I believe a screenshot purporting to say otherwise must have been faked.
