I’ve written about buying N95 masks and using them correctly if you’re going to travel. They’ve been expensive, $3+ apiece. However for a traveler putting themselves in indoor congregant settings I think they’re worthwhile.

Quality masks have become much more available, and prices have come down a lot. Over the summer you might have spent $7 to get an N95 mask from the limited places where you could find them.

Forget No Change Fees, Qatar Airways Makes All Tickets Refundable

Doha-based oneworld carrier Qatar Airways has been among the most creative during the pandemic. They’ve let customers get more credit than the value of their ticket if willing to forego a refund, they’ve offered to let customers convert flight credits into miles. They’ve even improved their award chart, reversing a past devaluation.

Now Qatar has announced that all tickets purchased by April 30, 2021 are refundable. And since they’d rather you not refund your tickets, there are no change fees to make an unlimited number of changes for travel through December 31, 2021.

Hyatt Regency Bangkok ‘One Million Baht Club’ Lets You Become A Resident For A Year

Your year-long Bangkok City Center stay is in a club room, so you get club level benefits including breakfast, light snacks, evening hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Think of it like rent, without having to pay extra for utilities for housekeeping, and meals thrown in. You even get complimentary parking. And they throw in club lounge meeting room use, too, so call it your office.

They rebate 20% of the price (200,000 Thai Baht) as a statement credit for use in the hotel’s restaurants and bars, or for room service and even hosting events. That’s over $6500 in room service, on top of the club lounge food.

Alaska Airlines Up To 30% Off Depending On The Height Of The Waves In Hawaii And California

Alaska Airlines runs squirrely sales, like discounts tied to the number of Russell Wilson touchdowns, but customers can benefit if they pay attention (and if sports results break just right).

Right now airlines might as well try anything, because although over 1 million people crossed through TSA checkpoints on Sunday that’s still down over 60% year-over-year. So Alaska is at it with a new sale based on the height of waves in California and Hawaii.
