Southwest says, “Our Flight Crew made repeated attempts to explain the situation to the Customer, however, she refused to deplane and law enforcement became involved.”

A Southwest Airlines passenger Tuesday evening complained to crew upon boarding her Baltimore – Los Angeles flight about an emotional support animal another passenger had on the aircraft. She claimed a severe allergy.
Southwest kicked her off the flight but she refused to leave the aircraft. Southwest escalated a customer service problem into a law enforcement problem. Law enforcement proceeded to grab the woman, yank her and push her off the flight!

Last week I received a call from a woman who identified herself as with American’s ‘executive liaison office’ asking about how I feel about American and AAdvantage as one of their most valued customers.

Back in July I wrote that Delta was apparently considering eliminating the ability to spend on its credit card instead of meeting minimum spending on tickets for elite status for those qualifying for their top Diamond tier.
Supposedly they were only going to let you earn up to Platinum using this waiver. They didn’t do that, but effective January 1, 2018 for 2019 status they might as well have.
