Reader Giveaway: Free Stay With Breakfast at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires

Sep 03 2017

The Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires is a great city hotel, set in an upscale neighbor apart from the hustle and bustle of the city and just a few blocks from the Four Seasons. There are two separate buildings, connected via underground walkway or outside through the garden. There’s the original Palacio and there’s a new tower. I’ve really enjoyed staying there.

The hotel itself is stunning, modern and minimalist for the bulk of the property and yet it blends well with its exterior and palace heritage. In a way it’s a Park Hyatt the way that I’ve come to expect throughout the Asia Pacific, it’s an oasis in a city like Buenos Aires

Finally: Man Held Accountable for Messing With Planeload of Passengers, Whacking Crew

Aug 31 2017

And yet I can’t bring myself to do it because of Delta management’s arrogance and dishonesty. And the utter contempt with which they treat frequent flyers.

Aug 31 2017

There was significant speculation about Cathay Pacific’s new route announcements, the big rumor is that cities would start with B, C, and D.

While there was a greater likelihood of a European focus than new US routes, “D” could have been “The Big D” — Dallas — a hub for American Airlines, so a city where Cathay could have some traffic feed.

Bikini Airline Had to Promise Their Flight Attendants Will Go Fully Clothed On New Route

Aug 24 2017

VietJet learned “from its experience with the opening of a route to Malaysia” that you can’t staff planes with bikini-clad flight attendants to all destinations.

The airline’s ability to fly to Jakarta, Indonesia has been contingent on two things: “halal food for Muslim passengers” and that flight attendants can’t wear bikinis.
