British Airways “Travel Together” vouchers can be earned using the airline’s co-brand credit cards. They let a companion travel for no additional miles when redeeming points. The first passenger pays normal miles, taxes and surcharges while the second passenger is charged taxes and surcharges but no miles.
They can now be used for a solo traveler to save 50% off the miles for an award.
The United ClubSM Infinite Card is the best way for most United flyers to gain access to United’s clubs. It has a $525 annual fee and currently has an offer to earn 100,000 bonus miles after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. That makes getting the card a no-brainer for many who can do so.
Chase is running a 30% bonus on transfers to British Airways through July 31, 2022 and a 50% bonus on transfers to Marriott through August 19, 2022.
Chase will be launching a new travel portal, first for all credit card customers and then for all of its bank customers. And they have eight airport lounges in the pipeline, whereas we previously only knew about six (and they’d only confirmed four). That and more according to an investor presentation.
For several years the IHG co-brand card from Chase has offered generous up front bonuses and has been worth keeping for its benefits – Platinum status, annual free night, and 4th night free on awards.
Now, though, the card has gotten much better and new benefits are live. Oh, and there’s still a generous up front bonus, too.
The United Explorer Card has an offer to earn up to 70,000 bonus miles: 60,000 after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months and an additional 10,000 after you spend $6,000 in the first 6 months. That’s still just an average of $1000 a month, so easily doable for most readers.
This is a nice improvement over most of the elevated offers there have been for this card. And it comes with a $0 the first year then $95 annual fee so you aren’t even paying that first year fee in exchange for the additional miles.

GoPuff is an on-demand delivery service for groceries, food, and other items like tooth paste, cell phone charges, or over the counter medicines. Nearly all Chase consumer cards now have a $10 per month credit with GoPuff on purchase of $10 or more.
This offer runs through December 31, 2023 so potentially $10 per month per eligible card for over 24 months. Deliveries cost $1.95, so you need to buy something over $8.05 to get the credit. No registration is required.
