Through February 2022 there’s a promotion where transferring points into 250,000 Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles will earn Star Alliance Gold status for a year.
Singapore Airlines is extending all status that expires by March 2023 by a year. So gaining Star Alliance Gold through this promotion actually nets you 24 months of status. And Singapore is a transfer partner of Chase, American Express, Citibank, Capital One and Brex.
Singapore Airlines moved its non-stop New York flight, the longest in the world, from Newark to New York JFK. Then as they rebuilt their schedules for a world where Covid-19 becomes endemic, they announced the return of their New York JFK – Frankfurt – Singapore service.
However that’s not the end of the story.
Those of you who booked Singapore Airlines Suites from the U.S. to Frankfurt or onward to Singapore will be thrilled to know that Singapore not only plans to operate the Airbus A380 on this route but that starting March 27, 2022 they’ll be operating the A380 with the new cabins which means new Suites.

By the end of next month Singapore Airlines will have restored service to all of the European destinations it plans to fly to. The Singapore flag carrier will serve 15 destinations, not planning to return to Stockholm or Dusseldorf and cancelling planned service to Brussels.
It’s adding a new flight, though, starting to serve travelers within Europe. The carrier will fly Singapore to Copenhagen, and then Copenhagen to Rome.
