Top Gun: Maverick, A Soulless Remake That’s Great For Aviation Geeks And America

It’s been 36 years since Top Gun. The house where Tom Cruise seduced his flight instructor, Kelly McGillis, is now a pie shop on the grounds of Hyatt’s Mission Pacific hotel.

Now it’s been rebooted and aviation geeks may find it “two thumbs up, five stars, and a must-see.” It’s close-up aviation scenes and cinematography. That’s also all it is [very few spoilers].

What To Do If You’re Not Getting Great Service From Your Assigned Hyatt Concierge

I do not know for certain whether some concierges are simple overburdened with too many members and too many requests, or whether the service just varies tremendously by agent, but the experiences readers share certainly evinces a wide spectrum of experiences. When the program was in its test phase it had just four agents, and with the rollout five years ago planned for 15-20 agents in total across all contact centers and time zones. Hyatt won’t say how many agents are working in the program today.

Biden Administration Appeals Ruling That Struck Down Air Travel Mask Mandate

It took over a month, but the Department of Justice has finally filed its appeal in the mask mandate case. The original order has expired and the administration hasn’t said whether or not they’d extend it (they almost certainly wouldn’t, but saying so could make their appeal moot).

Never bet against courts upholding government authority, however there are real problems with the CDC’s transportation mask mandate order beyond Administrative Procedures Act issues that have received the most attention.
