This Reaction Is The One Good Thing About The Passenger Duct Tape Incident

Aug 06 2021

The incident on board a Frontier Airlines Philadelphia – Miami flight where a passenger was duct taped to his seat has gained worldwide attention. The man reportedly spilling a cocktail on himself, taking off his shirt, touching up flight attendants and getting into a fight. The flight attendants who used the duct tape were suspended.

Now this man’s take on being a flight attendant, dealing with an unruly passenger, may be the best (and only good?) thing coming out of the incident.

Passenger Attacked On Miami Flight After Taking Too Long To Retrieve Bags From The Overhead Bin

Jul 20 2021

On Sunday night’s Frontier Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Miami, two passengers got into a fight as the aircraft started deplaning – because “the person in front of him was taking too long to get his bags from the overhead bins.”

Since the man who was attacked was black, and the man who got away with it white, social media discussion focuses on the racial elements of the incident. Although you might say this is just what happens on a Frontier Airlines flight bound for Miami.

Frontier Airlines Ditches ‘Covid Recovery’ Surcharge After Just One Day Of Publicity

Jun 23 2021

It took just one day but Frontier Airlines is dropping its ‘Covid Recovery’ surcharge. It had explained the extra fee tacked on to tickets as covering the cost of cleaning (as though their planes aren’t expected to be clean otherwise) and personal protective equipment for employees (as though airline safety wasn’t the airline’s responsibility).

Frontier Airlines won’t offer you business class award tickets to the Seychelles. But if you live in a Frontier Airlines city, and you’re reasonably likely to fly them, the credit card can be a great deal because every purchase on the card counts towards elite status with $1 of spend earning 1 elite qualifying mile.

And Frontier’s elite program offers real benefits – top tier 100,000 mile flyers see no fees at all, which is impressive with a fee-based ultra-low cost carrier.

Frontier Airlines Cancels Flight AFter 18 Month Old Refuses To Wear Mask

Mar 01 2021

Frontier Airlines cancelled its Miami – New York LaGuardia flight 2878 Sunday evening over a mask incident. The airline says that a ‘large group’ of passengers wouldn’t wear masks. The family, and some other passengers, dispute that characterization – say it was a maskless 18 month old who triggered the incident which caused the planeload of passengers to be rebooked for this morning.

Jan 02 2021

Two women flying Frontier Airlines from Seattle to Denver three weeks ago caused every passenger on board to deplane when they refused to properly wear masks, as the airline requires.

One of the woman, wearing a MAGA hat, told a passenger getting off the plane to “have a good day” followed by a derogatory epithet for African Americans, while her friend in a blue Trump hat ate an apple. Passengers cheered as police removed them both from the aircraft.

Frontier Airlines Promises New, Uncomfortable Seat Will Be Good For The Environment

Dec 15 2020

Frontier Airlines announced today that their 156 Airbus planes on order, which begin delivering in March, will receive Recaro’s slimline SL3710 seats. Slimline seats are known for passenger discomfort. They have less padding, and therefore take up less space. That lets airlines squeeze more passengers into the same amount of space. Frontier claims the sufferiing, though, is good for you because it’s good for the planet. Is that true?

“Bye Karen!” Passengers Yell As Mask Refusenik Escorted Off Flight By Cops

Dec 05 2020

Fox & Friends writer Griffin Frank shared video of a passenger confronted by a Frontier Airlines employee over their refusal to wear a mask on board.

The passenger would probably have gotten away with ignoring the mask request, and been on her way, but while the employee was still in earshot she started cursing. And that’s what got her removed, a ban from the airline, and a round of applause and “Goodbye Karen”‘s from other passengers as she was booted from the flight.
