Flight Attendant Who Stole Onboard Alcohol Awarded $33,000 After ‘Harsh’ Firing

Qantas searched a flight attendant and found he had “a can and a bottle of beer in his jacket, two 50ml bottles of vodka in his trousers and a 50ml bottle of gin in his bag.”

He claimed the beer in his jacket and vodka in his pants got there by mistake. He “he inadvertently pocketed the beer and vodka while serving passengers.” And while he really had no idea, “the gin might have come from a hotel mini bar.”

British Airways Business Class Sale: London For Less Than $1500 Roundtrip

British Airways is running a business class sale between the US and Europe. As usual, the sale is stackable with the $400 AARP premium cabin discount and with the 10% Chase discount.

In my opinion these stackable British Airways sales are the best value in transatlantic travel, they are worth proactively having an AARP membership (though you can sign up instantly for that) and an eligible Chase credit card.

SCREAMING DEAL: Park Hyatt Hyderabad Presidential Suite $138 (92% Off)

Park Hyatt Hyderabad is pricing its premium suites at the same rate as base rooms for stays December 10 through March 16. I see it for $138++ for a long weekend in February, for instance.

Of course I wouldn’t book additional travel right away. These are prepaid, non-refundable rates but I’d still wait to see whether the hotel has seller’s remorse over such a great deal.
