Delta will charge you 425,000 SkyMiles one-way Atlanta to Santiago, Chile in business class on April 17th. And Delta will happily make award space on this flight available to its partners. So if you’re an Air France KLM Flying Blue member, the same flight that Delta charges 425,000 miles to SkyMiles members can be booked for just 90,000 Flying Blue points.

Bilt: 50% Transfer Bonus To Avianca LifeMiles, Up To 100% Bonus To Virgin

September 1 Rent Day is a milestone. It’s the last one where you can earn double points on the Bilt Mastercard up to 10,000 points. It’s also the last one where tax payments will count towards the bonus. Starting with October 1 Rent Day the bonus will be capped at 1,000 additional points, and tax payments don’t count.

I’ve found Rent Day to be highly lucrative, and I’ve often maxed out this bonus.

Scam: Hyatt Hotel Denying Benefits Of Resort Fee When Staying On Points

Resort fees usually include collections of useless items, or small discounts or credits that the hotel benefits from when you spend more than the allotted amount. In the case of a $15 food and beverage credit, much of the time the hotel comes out ahead if you use it. Denying it to the guest is a mistake. But it’s also a scam layered on top of the resort/destination fee scam itself, because the hotel is getting compensated for it – and has to provide the same benefits to redemption guests as cash ones.
